Delighted to meet you! My name is Mariam. I'm a Bay Area native with a love for thoughtful designs and deep human experiences.
My interest in design sparked in undergrad after my very first design class. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a passion for creating beautiful yet intuitive products that genuinely make people’s lives better.
I’ve seen firsthand how confusing and exclusionary emerging technologies can feel, especially for those who weren’t raised alongside them, thus, I'm drawn to work that meets people where they are. I pride myself on reducing barriers and building things that empower people from all backgrounds to feel confident, capable, and included.
When I'm not designing, you can find me trying new cafes ☕, admiring the sea 🌊, studying history and culture ⚖️, or learning new languages - feel free to say hello, hola, salam, or bonjour!
